So Past Actions Heroes was our big splurge for our wedding and they were totally worth it! From beginning to end, the guys were very communicative, helpful, and friendly. Once at the wedding, they were fun and professional (as professional as a goofy 80s cover band should be). They toned down their usual rated-R show for the wedding, but they were still the exciting and funny guys I'd see play in bars around town. The best part was when they pulled me and my husband up on stage for the final song which was soooooo fitting for a wedding.
My guests loved them! There were all ages on the dance floor. Even those who don't dance enjoyed themselves and all were impressed by how amazing the music was. We got more compliments about the band than about the food!
The band even brought a DJ to play in between sets and for after the show. The DJ was super friendly and helpful. He was also flexible when playing music for our money dance, insuring that we had enough time to dance with our guests. Closing with the DJ was great, too! We had people dancing until midnight.
These guys are worth every penny!

These guys are AMAZING! They were a huge hit at our wedding reception. Initially I was skeptical about having an 80's theme band, but my fiancé (now husband) insisted that people would love it and he was right. Greg (their main contact) was really professional and they all handled the business side stuff promptly. They have a great set up with lighting and sound. Once the music started... people were blown away! After a few songs, 95% of our guests were up and dancing on the floor. The only time it cleared was during their breaks and then once they came back on, the dance floor would pack up again. If your looking for a band that will get your guests dancing and keep dancing, these are the guys. I can't tell you how many compliments we got from our guests about the band and how it was the most fun they'd had at a wedding. HIGHLY recommended!

I can’t say enough about Past Action Heroes. We hired them, sight unseen, for my wife’s 50th birthday party and we’re blown away by their performance! My wife and I (and one weird friend) danced to their first two songs and by the third song, the dance floor was completely full… and it stayed that way for the rest of the night! Even people who never dance at parties (i.e. grandparents and awkward loners) were up on the floor and shaking their groove things. Not only was it a phenomenal show (and consequently a phenomenal party), but the guys were incredibly friendly, talking with guests, posing for pictures, and helping out when we wanted to make announcements or use their lights. A special shout out to Greg who was particularly helpful ahead of time and made all the arrangements incredibly easy. We highly recommend them and will be checking out their website to see them again the next time they play in town!

Past Action Heroes is an amazing 80s cover band, with a phenomenal song list. They rocked our wedding reception on June 3rd! They are superb entertainers and their covers often sound better than the original songs!! Our guests loved them. They are also extremely professional. Communication was timely and easy. Most importantly, they offered to learn our first-dance song (which sounded off-the-charts great!). These guys go above and beyond to put on a great show—we absolutely *loved* their outrageous costumes. Who wouldn’t want Thomas Manyum, Poncho Rello, Miami Don and Hunk Hogan to play at their wedding reception? We were thrilled to have found them!!!

OMG. OMG. OMG. Compare being in the room with these guys to being in the presence of rock stars! Honestly, I could continue to freakout about this band all day long. Not only are they a professional team of great humans, but they are beyond talented musicians who understand how to command and transform a room into a well-oiled PARTY MACHINE! PAST ACTION HEROES, you are the stuff of LEGEND. Thank you for making our event something that will live amidst the crown jewels of our memory :)

This is the 2nd time we have used Past Action Heroes, two totally different groups. Both times they have been an immediate hit. Their energy, stage presence, and great sets turn the crowd on fire. Everyone is on the dance floor. We will be booking them for 2 more gigs this summer! You can't go wrong with this group!!
